Web Application Development

The Internet represents a vast area of challenges and opportunities for software developers in general and the Delphi developer in particular. This months presentation will cover the array of new Delphi 3 tools and technologies that open this door for the Delphi developer.

At this months meeting Darren Forcier of Forcier Computers will introduce, discuss and demonstrate Web application development for the Delphi developer. His presentation will include consideration of the major topics of interest to Delphi developers involved with Internet related application development.

Topics to be covered in Darren’s presentation will include database-driven, web page generation and web page, ActiveX component creation with Delphi. ActiveForms and deploying Delphi applications via the Internet Explorer. Using the Delphi Internet Control Pack to create Email, HTTP / HTML and NNTP enabled applications. Delphi’s advanced development tools including the VCL Web Components: TWebApplication, TWebModule, TWebDispatcher and NSAPI, ISAPI, CGI, and WIN-CGI development.
